Burgundy / Fine dining
Burgundy is one of Beirut’s finest restaurants and wine sellers. On their tenth anniversary, they commissioned me to rework their entire visual identity to reinforce their position in the city’s fine dining space.
I spent time with the entire team, from the chef, hosts, and founders, to understand what made Burgundy and the experience exceptional. The creative process was meticulous and involved local craftsmanship, a natural approach to photography, and a brand that would survive another few decades.
Marco Pinarelli shot all the photos.
The photography revolved around bringing the people forward, each in their unique way.
The menus were handcrafted by local artisans. We created a colour coding system to identify the different menu types and designed a unique magnetic clamp mechanism to hold the paper in place.
A pattern inspired by bottlenecks and wine flow was used across touchpoints and colourful stickers for packaging and wrapping.
