Practice Safe Sound
Practice Safe Sound is a cultural movement that aims to raise awareness about the dangers of tinnitus in the music industry.
There is a need for a collective shift in the music scene to adopt a Practice Safe Sound approach and prevent the rising cases of tinnitus.
Through Practice Safe Sound, we plan to address all aspects of this issue, including the responsibility of club owners to use high-quality sound systems and the role of media publications in sharing information and experiences.
To launch the Practice Safe Sound campaign, we partnered with Retrogroove and Beirut in the Mix and introduced colourful light cubes with QR codes linked to the campaign’s Instagram page in the DJ booths at their parties. We also distributed tabloid-style pamphlets and t-shirts to help raise awareness about the importance of safe sound practices.
