Stein was founded by an architect in Beirut that runs a successful construction business. The research took us in many directions until we settled on “STEIN,” meaning stone in German. A Stone is an essential part of building foundations. The German language direction symbolizes precision engineering and perfect attention to detail, something the owners pride themselves on.

In our copywriting process, we wanted to avoid pairing the logo with words commonly used in that industry, such as contractors, contracting, construction… We decided to use “built by…STEIN” instead, which describes precisely what the company does.
